I am no expert, this animal is just a visitor to my garden.

But I believe it is descended from a wild cat species in Bengal.

@piepants @catsalad Malik🐈‍⬛ just peed on a new large powerbank, my swimming trunks, and a few other things that still lay on the (soft fabric, not hard plastic) lid of a suitcase.

I think he’s bored, from the immense heatwave (before that we used to go with him into the garden almost daily, sometimes more than once). It’s not as if there weren’t two litterboxen within a few metres (and two more downstairs).

@mirabilos @catsalad oof! I'm getting a pair which are already friends and indoor cats, so hopefully they won't do that.

@piepants @catsalad oh, already friends is good.

Ours are both former strays. Old-female-and-really-tiny and Young-male-and-rather-large does not make for a good mix when they (mostly he) want to play with each other.

@piepants @catsalad one of them peed into a clothes basket with still-damp used clothes and stuff last year… so I guess we now know who… but otherwise, that is a first.
