Iv decided to go back to casual #wow play due to sad. I found solace hanging out in my favourite places in #Azeroth
Last time I played was 8 months ago...
Many years ago, when I was worried I was an alco, my doctor said, if you can stop for a week, youre not addicted.

I'm not addicted to wow.

Since I had an issue loading it on my Linux box, I've run an extensive query to build an install BOK, then fed it into Claude code that fixed it for me.

Still, it wasn't enough as it gets to about 64% then "hangs" but it turns out the hang is just the CPU decompressing/installing files. Previously I would break out of it. But now I know the CPU is at 99%.

Heroic launcher was looping for 9 hours trying to integrate corrupt chunks at 100% CPU utilisation

In the end I (AI) had to create a script that launched blizzard updater automatically. #wow is now pulling the 25GB update.

This is why #linuxgaming is so problematic.

When it works it works, but when it doesn't you need 10 hours, an Ai generated BOK and Aigen launch script 🙄
