#Transport for #London – Programmes and Investment Committee – 1 July 2026 – agenda reports pack – highlights

Transport for London reported strong Q4 2025/26 safety performance, with 2.28 million hours worked, no employee injuries and no RIDDOR-reportable incidents. Environmental achievements included more than 3,000 zero-emission #buses, solar energy plans for the Underground and drainage projects exceeding targets. #TfL delivered 32 of 34 strategic milestones on time or early. Highlights included the opening of Colindale station, 31km of cycleways completed, wider 4G and 5G coverage and the early reopening of Cutty Sark DLR station. Challenges remain with the DLR Rolling Stock Replacement and Piccadilly Line Upgrade, where delays and higher costs persist. Overall capital spending remains broadly within approved limits.
