SnoopJ@bipolaron @jeffluszcz I was thinking it might be SCUL's training thingy but that's next weekend. Entirely possible it was them, though, especially if the bikes looked bodged-together as is their custom.
@SnoopJ @jeffluszcz the specific event listing from their website was on the minuteman trail, on the 20th, and that goes near or across fresh pond.
the only thing I could not parse out of the website was the time... but it does say sunset so maybe 7pm is a bit early.
