G7 should be approved for CamAPS ypsopumps in Germany by the end of the month... My last G6 Order is coming in next week. Really looking forward to the shorter warm up time.
@otherryn Yeah… if I had a choice, I'd go back to the G6 in a heartbeat!! The G7 has been nothing but trouble for us. The main issue being unreliability of the readings (sometimes off by 150 mg/dL — 8.3 mmol/L).
@otherryn …and right now my little one's CGM is 89 units off… With the pump auto-bolussing thinking she's too high an the CGM not taking recalibrations into account. If you're interested, you could read Dan Heller's blogpost about the G7 inaccuracies: https://danheller.substack.com/p/the-cgm-patent-that-could-save-lives I thought it was a pretty good analysis of the issue.
The CGM Patent That Could Save Lives
A patent that describes detecting unreliable CGM readings has the potential to protect users from harm. And yet…
@cortig yeah. My team said that accuracy really depends on body chemistry with the G7 and if I was running into problems, they'd get me a prescription for Libre 3 without a visit needed
