@davidallengreen I'm curious as to the specificity of the proscription wrt expressing support. "I support Palestine Action" on a piece of card is enough to get someone arrested. I've just written it but as quote which should put me in the clear. If I wrote it on a sign but in my illegible handwriting does that still count? If I can't spell Palestine does that count? If I put the words in a different order or a foreign language does that count? It seems very subjective how you make the move between the words "Palestine Action" and the supposed terrorist organisation.
@spzb @davidallengreen Surely as with all such edge cases the answer is simply "that's for the Courts to decide". Laws as written aren't usually intended to take into account every conceivable possibility, that aspect of the UK's judicial systems is farmed out to magistrates and judges. (And sometimes juries, if you're feeling lucky)
