@pixelkabinett I am so excited to try the demo later :D
@pixelkabinett demo tried! I love it :D the game is absolutely gorgeous. Loved the jumping puzzles, though it was easy to overshoot sometimes. I thought the one where you have to jump into the first sledge swing thing to reach a ledge that you couldn't normally reach was very clever but not frustrating. I liked the little pool with the old god at the end. Love the protagonist character.
@pixelkabinett The music was catchy but it would be nice if it looped instead of fading out and back in again. The giant stone blocks were finicky, though I was happy to see them be a thing. The animation for pushing them is good but the movement of the block itself makes it feel like its full of air, and also its easy to fall between them and walls.
@pixelkabinett overall it is a fantastic game and it's it really shows how much love went into making it so far. if the demo didn't cut me off I'd have kept playing it for hours
@pixelkabinett that was a fun dungeon :)
@aeva Aw thank you that is high praise! With a median playtime of 8 minutes I am quite worried about the quality of the demo!
@pixelkabinett oh also it runs real nice on the steam deck
@pixelkabinett also I enjoyed finding all the little hidden items that were rewards for climbing up to improbable places
@pixelkabinett 8 minutes makes me think maybe they were enjoying it enough to keep poking around for a bit but never found the dungeon. i did walk past it a few times not realizing there were stairs in that pit at first
@aeva I will replace the demo with a later dungeon at some point beofre I dare to set foot in a Next Fest!
