there's even, finally, a cryptocurrency which allows "mining" coins by offering compute capacity for useful purposes rather than just proof-of-work.
@krutonium I just remembered I actually did this a few years ago, I started tomato seedlings in a cold basement using waste heat from mining XMR. (the house had a giant rack of solar panels fwiw)
@surfhosting I mean, yes, you could do this, but no, I'm actually referring to like, actual normal rice cookers with NFT/AI/Blockchain written on the box with no other modifications.
