Hard to get any work done. The view from my wife's office downstairs. #Alaska #Anchorage #BearValley #Moose #WildLifePhotography
@EyeOnAlaska I would get absolutely nothing done.
@BakerRL75 That's pretty much what's happening here all morning. I've got work to do outside, but don't want to disturb them. My stuff can wait. The more they can rest, the healthier they'll be. Hoping the young one will survive. We do live in Bear Valley.

@EyeOnAlaska baby meese are so funny.

ETA: jealous!

@EyeOnAlaska It would be unreasonable to expect work. 100+ hours a year of time off to look at nature hanging out nearby should be the standard.

@EyeOnAlaska

This is literally perfect.

@EyeOnAlaska who won the staring contest?
@antdude I'm pretty sure that's a baby moose's superpower
@EyeOnAlaska oh god terrifying, with the baby and everything yeesh

@EyeOnAlaska

This is so lovely! πŸ’•

Good on you for not wanting to disturb them. πŸ‘

@EyeOnAlaska I grew up on a ranch in Colorado, and we had mountain lions all over the place, despite my grandfather and my adopted uncle game warden's best efforts to get rid of them. And the ranch owner's nephew came on the ranch, and we're out in the yard, and he sees one in the distance. "There's a mountain lion!" Yeah. Okay? They'll all over the place. "You're not scared?" Well, if you're not running toward or away from the angry meow meow...then no. They will get bored and wander off.
@EyeOnAlaska This reminds me of a Hell's Kitchen contestant named Meese.
