Still tinkering…
@caseyliss might add a “with” in there for the time remaining so it makes more sense if it’s not on two separate lines?
@caseyliss feels like it would benefit with a progress bar
@callin prior/Discover screen has it. Noodling on copying it here.
@caseyliss Pitch: change Runtime to Now Playing. Put “1h 40m Left. Ends at 10:30pm” and have a slight shimmer effect on the time going left to right indicating forward progress. Maybe play with alternating between end time and time left every few seconds on a tap.
@Gte I really like where your head is at but if I go for three lines of text (title, remaining, end) it’ll throw that whole right side out of balance…

@Gte but perhaps

ENDS AT
11:43pm

With the popover showing 1 hour 43 minutes remaining?

@Gte Needs to be cleaned up, and I gotta run, but I think you’re definitely on to something
@caseyliss @Gte Try it with the first line at headline size, then the progress bar, then the 40 minutes remaining at caption size
@caseyliss Nice! I’m digging it. This is a great feature idea. (Also, not mentioning a specific service means you can add others later and don’t need to worry about things so much)

@caseyliss @Gte just offering an alternative 🥰

I know it can break consistency with the other fields, but what if we replace the field instead of a popover? (it's a bit tight because I was working off a screenshot)

@rafa @caseyliss @Gte

It does remind me of those ‘iOS buttons that don’t look like buttons’
and ‘iOS buttons that don’t give feedback they have been pushed.’
UI issues however.

Sure, it -Does- change, but it’s subtle, and would I accidentally trigger it and/or misread it?

I’m ok with OBVIOUS and DISMISS. If I need to be reminded of what movie I’m watching by keeping a title or poster uncovered, am I even watching it?

@caseyliss The thing it needs is information hierarchy.

Here's my suggestion: large headline text "1h 49m" remaining. Progress bar below the headline. "Ends at 10:28 AM" in caption text below the progress bar.

Jellyfin icon on the left, and make the background an aggressively blurred media artwork.

@caseyliss This reminds me (sorry you probably don’t need this, but) is the sluggish animation when showing and dismissing the poster image a SwiftUI problem? And also, why do you write like you’re running out of time
@caseyliss Nice. I'd re-word it - "Now playing on Jellyfin. Ends in 1h 49m at 10:28 AM.
@caseyliss Including the stream source is good imho. not obvious to everyone, i’d wager, that you’re not showing it for plex (if you also have that running), or even apple tv/disney etc.
