This is *beta 6*. There’s tons of stuff like this all over the place. To me, IOS in a really bad state and i can’t see how they’re going to make it decent in time. @gruber @siracusa @caseyliss @marcoarment

@siracusa @caseyliss @marcoarment Floating tabs is stupid from a usability perspective, and a stupid idea in general. Bad on ipad, you have to reach farther to reach and feels awkward. *terrible* on iPhone, you cant reach with one hand anymore if done the same way. Also, it doesn’t give much more space than the old tabs, tou can’t pit anything under them!
@siracusa @caseylisscom @marcoarment Marcos comment re. Bahamas got me thinking - Remember back when ”webcameras” were the cutting edge? imagine webcameras, but immersive. Now that would be pretty cool, just jumping around to different parts of the world where they put one up, and look around at the live feed.
@marcoarment i would love so much if you’d make a blog post about yourredesign and how it works in practice. I’ve started writing all new code in Swift, but still need to attempt to re-write my app too. Congrats!
