App Review remains a frustrating experience. I submitted #Flyleaf version 2.6 to the #AppStore on Wednesday, assuming I could release them before #WWDC starts on Monday. The iOS version was approved 4 hours later, great! The macOS version also went into review, but has now been stuck at „In Review“ for 4 days, with no way to tell whats going on. My only options are to hope and wait or to resubmit, which both suck.
The #AppStore saga continues: After 8 days, the macOS version was rejected by #AppReview on a metadata technicality, forcing me to also resubmit the already approved iOS version. Lets hope I won’t regret any of this …
Well shit, now I'm officially in #AppReview Hell. I resubmitted everything to the #AppStore, iOS was approved quickly, but the macOS version got another rejection after 2 days, this time stating that my-in app puchase flow „may mislead or confuse users about the subscription terms or pricing“. Of course, that flow is unchanged for over two years and never been a problem before. @rejected
@maxmelzer @rejected Aww didums. Do you think you’re special and deserve kind treatment?
@BenCotterill @rejected As as a matter of fact, I think I deserve kind treatment by virtue of being a human being. But I get what you mean. Sometimes, all we have is venting on social media …
@maxmelzer @rejected The trillion dollar company doesn’t give a shit about you.
