I have prepared a directory of sites that work well with #Dillo with a focus on human crafted sites to help new users find useful content:

https://dir.dillo-browser.org/

There is A LOT of content to explore, so be mindful of the time when entering the rabbit hole.

You can also suggest new sites to be added at the end of the page.

Dillo Directory

@dillo well that’s it, dillo’s going onto my laptop as my chilling out browser

@dillo nice resource, thanks for compiling and sharing

BTW, I had no idea that Nihilists had a sense of humor

@dillo Turns out most of mine don't work so well, but I found a couple to recommend.

@dillo from my projects:

  • http://ring.acab.dev places a large emphasis at having all the pages at least readable in Dillo/links2
  • http://floppy.cd-rom.net/ misrenders a bit at the top, but is generally readable (i’ll put some work into making it nicer:)
  • most of my webpages are readable; http://sakamoto.pl/ only fails with a BMP button failing to load :3
The Hacker Webring

@domi thanks! Nice webring, I added it. The rest I will add to my TODO for review.
@dillo When loading http://floppy.museum in dillo on my 486 (NetBSD 10.1) I run out of swap (128mb) after 15 minutes. The page never actually loads. :-/
Museum of Obsolete Media | Floppy Disk Collection

@ltning can you report the dillo version with "dillo -v"? It peaks at 4.5 MiB here on Linux and seems to load fine in dillo 3.3.0:
@dillo here's an AX.25 stack i made, i even gave its web site a cool Dillo browser compatibility badge at the bottom 😎 https://kz3rox.us/
