#XKCD is awesome, and this time it was accidentally, frustratingly awesome. https://xkcd.com/3227 has different viewing modes by a pull-down menu below the comic. They're all a lot of fun except "modem mode," which I actually thought (because old eyes and late night and small text) was "modern mode," so when my browser just froze (as it does for some viewers, I guess) I figured that was the joke.
