“What did you do after the Purge? How did you survive?”

“Oh, I’d already quit the order by the time of the Fall. I was a plumber!”

“Really, a Jedi Knight unblocking sinks? You couldn’t think of anything else to do with your valuable skills?”

“Hey unblocking a sewer line without having to dig up the garden is absolutely a valuable skill. “

@Unixbigot I was just trying to imagine the video game "Jedi Knight Fallen Order - plumbing" and I thought "No one would want to play a game about a plumber...."
@Dtraslerwriting
...or about placing more and more sections of a pipe so that the stuff must flow... @Unixbigot
@Unixbigot look, if you can remotely sense and hover a lightsaber, you can unclog *anything*, and if you work on an emergency basis you're going to become a real hero in no time
@Unixbigot Every super hero supports thousands of super janitors, super carpenters, super bricklayers, and super plumbers just to clean up the messes they make.
@Unixbigot man this gives me Robert Hughes and Philip Glass vibes

Sometimes dad used to bring home vhs tapes to watch at home because it was easier and more comfortable, than doing it at work.

Off went what ever was on the ABC of an afternoon.

Instead of Degrassi, You Can't do that on TV, The Goodies etc, we would have VHS tapes of Sydney sewer systems getting inspected by cctv cameras.

Until dinner was ready.

@Unixbigot It certainly would be a valuable skill.
