@eunews Wonderful news, indeed!

However, it only affects to the European Parliament. I have yet to see that taking place in the public sector of European countries

@icg937 @eunews exactly, they should push for more European based tech to the public.
@eunews That is wonderful, now microsoft should be ousted... 😁

@eunews

tbh: I tried Qwant, but I went back to DuckDuckGo.

@elCelio @eunews I like qwant but I i ultimately went back to DDG as they had a dedicated URL for no ai, which made it easier to use with firefox focus
@eunews Can we throw Alpha in the trash and use it here? (No doubt, the children will say no but this child (me) wants it.)

@eunews Nice. Just tried Qwant - returned results seem pretty good, although default AI garbage is included, alas. However this v easy to turn off in settings... Will try it out for a while and see how it goes. Thanks! πŸ™

#Qwant

@FaithfullJohn @eunews try https://murena.qwant.com/

No AI at all, although unfortunately Qwant generally returns a lot of AI slop results, including in image search.
