Bob Jonkman#BikeNite A3: Ever since opened the rear hub to tighten a wobble, and discovered the ball bearings were not in cages, and retrieved most of them that hadn't rolled too far away, then needing five hands to hold the wheel, hub, skewer, bearing race, and the wee little tiny slippery ball bearings, and getting laughed at by the tech at the LBS (very politely so as not to hurt my feelings), and needing to buy a new wheel anyway, I won't touch anything with bearings.
