@InfoMgmtExec @Energy4Europe The alternative narrative that I prefer is that we need to accelerate both nuclear for our grid and renewables for green steel, eMethanol etc. If we did that we could save 10x the CO2 that we currently save by simply dumping those renewable electrons onto a JIT grid.

Disagree. The #BaseloadParadigm is dead. So are conventional approaches to metals manufacturing. #Decarbonization requires new thinking, not new innovation. @icanbob @Energy4Europe
@InfoMgmtExec @Energy4Europe Base load paradigm? Not sure what that is or that it has anything to do with my straightforward accounting calculations for CO2 scenarios. As for green steel chemistry stays the same. One still has to convince O2 to leave iron ore one way or another.
