GrimDeck.comCommander brewing question: do you pick the commander first, or start with the thing you want the deck to do and find the legend after? I keep doing both, then pretending the pile was planned.
Kensan_Oni@GrimDeck When I build commander decks, it’s because I have found a commander that makes me want to do the thing. Even if it probably expecting way too much of the commander to do the thing, I want to do the commander’s thing. (I asked so much of Korlessa, Scale Singer, really)
Raul Portales@GrimDeck that's top down design Vs bottom up design. Both work, I personally prefer to start with the commander, as it's usually also "the thing the deck wants to do", and I find it more flavorful.
