Experienced mushroomers only.

Don't guess, don't use AI, don't look them up. I am quite capable of doing those things myself.

I want people with actual knowledge and experience only to answer this.

What are these?

Looks like maybe something in the Gyromitra genus... Not sure where you are and that would probably help determine the species. But if you look in that genus you will likely find your ID. The caps are wrinkled as opposed to pitted like a true morel. Also a true morel will have a hollow stipe and Gyromitra usually has a cottony filling inside the stipe.
@crinstamcamp In Germany we call them Morchel.
@kalkbrenner Are you sure you don't call them Lorchel or Frühjahrslorchel?
@crinstamcamp Lorchel is poisonous. I hope these are not Lorchels. 😁

@kalkbrenner which was why I asked for answers from experienced people.

I believe these are Lorchel (False Morels) based on the fact they do not have hollow stems and the tops are not fully attached to the stem, however, I've had someone claim they are true Morels and are safe to eat because they eat them.

The first ones I found, ARE true Morels, of this I'm sure. (pictures in this toot)

These others??? I'm pretty sure are not. (pics in first toot)
