and a thought :

Years ago, a great many young women would step in front of my camera entirely of their own free will. Because they wanted to capture their youthful beauty in an artistic way. Because they enjoyed it, because it made them feel stronger, for all sorts of personal reasons.

I’m not really searching for anything anymore, but I also think the whole picture has changed now. With the rise of sites like Insta, the everyday selfie, complete with all sorts of filters, has taken over. Insta is all about instant fame and self-affirmation. You don’t need someone else’s perspective on yourself (e.g. a photographer); you decide your own image and become a commercial ‘like’ product.

@LievenSymaeys But there’s still a market for photo shoots. I know some photographers who shoot on film, and they have plenty of work. And it’s not just wedding photos or photos of some event
Yes, no offense, but this maybe sounds a little bit strange or silly. But what I mean was that there was no "market" involved. It was more for the #pleasure of being a model and the pleasure of making "art" pictures. Also getting loads of likes ( or wanting ) is a #market.
