It’s been a fun and exciting hobby to collect 45 RPM singles over the years. This one I heard on the radio and decided to buy it and add to my treasured record collection 4+ decades ago.

Years ago, a great many young women would step in front of my camera entirely of their own free will. Because they wanted to capture their youthful beauty in an artistic way. Because they enjoyed it, because it made them feel stronger, for all sorts of personal reasons.
I’m not really searching for anything anymore, but I also think the whole picture has changed now. With the rise of sites like Insta, the everyday selfie, complete with all sorts of filters, has taken over. Insta is all about instant fame and self-affirmation. You don’t need someone else’s perspective on yourself (e.g. a photographer); you decide your own image and become a commercial ‘like’ product.
