Dennis HowardI still pay my Michigan state income tax the old-fashioned way. I fill out the forms and mail them in. Today I got a letter from the state Treasury Department informing me that their review of my return has resulted in an adjustment. As I read this I thought, "Uh oh". But it turns out that they have added 5 dollars to my refund! Well okay then!
No explanation of the adjustment was provided. But the letter did inform me that I have 60 days to appeal this decision if I have supporting documents. Uh, no. I don't think i will appeal!
