@funnymonkey Yes, but it's because the presupposition is that #uk adults can make their own decisions including making decisions that harm themselves. So, if UK adults want to be brainwashed by hate and outrage, or agree to social media terms of service to have their emotions farmed for clicks and profit and to put them in disinformation silos, then that's their prerogative.

The state only steps in when that same process results in them committing (or going to commit) extreme acts of violence.
