John Patrick Butler, 71 anni, è stato condannato il 5 maggio a cinque anni di libertà vigilata e costretto a pagare 77.500 dollari di risarcimento.
Le aquile calve (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) e le aquile dorate (Aquila chrysaetos) erano state uccise nell’area della Riserva Indiana Flathead, secondo quanto riportato dall’Ufficio del Procuratore.

This indictment was announced by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Montana District. The bald eagles (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) and golden eagles (Aquila chrysaetos) had been killed in the area of the Flathead Indian Reservation, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
