Mouse Trap member Truman Sinclair goes mostly acoustic indie folk/folk rock as a solo artist. He leans overtly into a classic sound that plays in the same space as artists like John Mellencamp and Tom Petty, both in terms of its straightforward structure and melodic depth. The spirit of Neil Young also peeks through the curtains on occasion. Sinclair takes these recognizable stylistic relishes and adds his distinct hook to take ownership of these influences.
