Is there a bot, which replies under each picture post with missing alttext: "please use alt-text, because xyz"
It should just track your own instance
Maybe not under each post, but just once each month per user.... ?
Preferable it works with a token, so you can post with an admin account.
Do any of you know such a bot for self-hosting? It should work with #Mastodon and #Pixelfed.

It’s using a different approach (following back users who want to get notified), but it shouldn’t be too much effort to monitor the local timeline instead.

Im Fediverse gibt es viele Blinde und Leute mit Beeinträchtigung des Sehens, weswegen sie darauf angewiesen sind. Wir haben das hier versucht mal zusammen zu schreiben. https://punkstodon.de/@punxsocial/116035329831216136 Viele Leute teilen auch keine Bilder ohne Alt-Text, ihr erhöht damit also auch eure Reichweite ;-) Ihr könnt es auch ohne Probleme nachtragen! Vielen Dank! P.s. Alt-Text kann und sollte auch auf Twitter, Bsky, Insta, Facebook usw verwendet werden, sofern es die technische Möglichkeit dazu gibt (gibt es im Normalfall)
@joergi I can't read Deutsche, so I can't comment on the other posts (even though they look like translations of this one). But, yeah, that would be too loud, too annoying, too "in-my-face" -- I would be more likely to ignore it or rebel against it.
But given the name "punkstodon" I'm guessing that is to be expected. I would quickly find an exit from such an instance if I received that message more than once.
