@slashdot If a standard mechanic can't fix the car with regular diagnostic equipment (i.e., those where the mechanic doesn't have to pay the company a licence to use), then the car's worthless. If I buy it, I should own it and I should be able to take it to my local who has no trouble diagnosing and fixing it. I shouldn't need the internet to drive it.
