I am highly allergic to cowardly men, from all/every background. I especially have zero respect for cowardly white men, who grew up with many privileges that were never open to women like me. I'm angrier at non-white, cowardly men - who should/often do know better but still choose to not use their male privileges to do anything much to help non-white women/children who suffer under patriarchal crap. I'm angrier at them because they choose to protect their personal privileges over doing better for non-white folks with lesser privileges.
Men - it's your job to teach other men to brave the hell up, much more. They dismiss voices of women, almost all the time.

#patriarchy #misogyny #MalePrivilege #injustice #NoCowardMen #BraveUp #DoBetterMen

I dislike that my compassionate energy attracts many grown ass men, from almost every background. Grown men, who are not truly seeking an equal but seeking a woman to be their Mommy/guardian replacement.
Just because I'm kind & understanding, it doesn't mean I'm into being a pseudo Mom to any grown man.

If I wanted to raise kids, I'd have chosen to be Mom to humans. I never wanted to birth any kids. I certainly am not into faux parenting full grown men. No fucking thank you. Not interested.

@PhoenixSerenity we need to break the strangle hold of the red pill content they keep ingesting first

@macacator That's not my job. It's on other men, to do that job.

These men don't take women's voices, seriously.

@PhoenixSerenity some of them won't listen to other men either. They're too entrenched in Andrew Taint.
@macacator Yeah, it's like deprogramming people from cults. They're just more likely to listen to men, over women though. Sad but true. I've witnessed multiple incidences on here with that too. Many men on here won't take most marginalized women's voices seriously but they will take a male ally voice seriously.
@PhoenixSerenity @macacator The patriarchy has dominated all activist spaces I've ever been a part of.... there's a lot of talking about awareness of male privilege on the left yet male voices still always dominate. It surprises how unaware most are of their own sense of self-importance. Sexism and misogyny and how they are deeply bound with colonialism continue to be unexamined by most self-proclaimed progressive men.

@lagrandecedre
We're building up a matriarchs/Aunties army. It's necessary, in these times & beyond.

@macacator

@lagrandecedre
I'm not a fan of talking about problems without actively working on some solutions to the problems.

@macacator

@lagrandecedre Internalized misogyny from women are really harmful too. Some of my worst lived experiences were with women who defend misogynistic men & who have gross internalized misogyny issues.
@PhoenixSerenity ugh so much this. I supported a bunch of women through sexual harassment in their PhDs and their advisors (men) were such cowards EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE TENURE. Literally no consequences other than some discomfort and instead they decided to blame me and gaslight the women.
@irene I have similar work life experiences about those same issues. I will share that, tomorrow.
@irene @PhoenixSerenity so frustrating!!!!!!! They’ll “go with the flow” and “keep their heads down” for so long to accumulate power that by the time they HAVE power, stability, and protection, they’re conditioned not to use it in ways that challenge the fucked-up systems that granted them the power they wanted and now have. Tenured professors, lifetime-appointed judges, etc. I have no patience for it. These are “smart” people; they know it’s wrong.

@Recalcitrant
I've actually had multiple people with more privileges than me straight up tell me that they know it's wrong AND that they know they're cowards for not using their status quo privileges better/more often. They're cowards. Scared to lose their status quo with a bunch of corrupt colonial bastards who don't care much if they live/die & only care if they choose to take any real dissenting actions. I cannot be around colonial cowards anymore. I don't need to go to jail for losing my shit on colonial cowards!

@irene

@Recalcitrant @irene I don't want apologies from any of those colonial/capitalist helper people. I want them to STFU around me, until they fucking choose to do better.
@PhoenixSerenity @Recalcitrant the worst part was one of them telling me that he’s just really sensitive and doesn’t like making people sad.

@irene
That's a gaslighting, ignorant manboy, with an enablers army at work. He's not sensitive enough to stop being an ignorant wankerbutternoodle who helps to harm marginalized folks.

@Recalcitrant

@PhoenixSerenity @Recalcitrant thanks. I wrote about the whole thing here if you want to be extra infuriated. The men were cowards and the (white) women were actively malicious. All but one of the women being harassed of course were POC. They’ve left now mostly.

@irene
Please drop a link so I can read up on it. Thank you. We need to be able to talk about this kind of patriarchal bigotry, openly & honestly.

@Recalcitrant

@PhoenixSerenity @irene yes, please share!

@irene @Recalcitrant I'll be reading this, in the evening. Thanks for sharing your lived experiences 🙌

@irene @Recalcitrant @PhoenixSerenity
Your links in this paragraph seem to be incorrect? I'm getting 404 errors:

"By request, I have produced a ChatGPT summary of the report and the women’s timeline to help people grasp the situation."

@negative12dollarbill @Recalcitrant @PhoenixSerenity oh no! I might have moved some things around on my website
@irene @Recalcitrant @PhoenixSerenity No worries, let us know the URLs or when you've fixed them. That official report in PDF form is a bit of a grind to read
@PhoenixSerenity is one really to blame for being 'cowardly'? Awareness is good, but blame doesn't help.
@ee I'm uninterested in your sealioning replies. Do better or don't engage with people like me.
