Lluvir/fountainpens said it couldn't be done, but I was able to make a #TWSBI Eco #fountainpen play nicely with an FPR Superflex nib. I paired the nib with 1.1 stub feed for a juicy flow and wrapped nib and feed together with a bit of plumber's tape to make the works fit snugly. Too little tape and it will slip; too much and the flow will be off (and you'll have to prime the works via the end knob). Hit the sweet spot, and it's lovely.
I forgot the obligatory writing sample, @ferret_stack . It's not your swoonworthy Mabie, but it isn't bad for its price. Cap not posted because I lost it - a replacement is coming from twsbiinc @ gmail . com for the price of shipping. (Another reason to work w TWSBIs :> )
