@misty aw, Misty. Let’s just leave GitHub there with Microsoft.

Here, let’s move to Codeberg 🙌🏻

It was good while it lasted.

@vito Well, yes? That's what I've been doing with my own projects. I do need to work on projects that are maintained there, where I don't control the choice of where they're hosted.
@misty sorry, I didn’t mean to leave any kind of tone in that toot! I’m in the same position as you right now.
@misty @vito I've been trying to convince every project I interact with on GitHub to #GiveUpGitHub at any chance I get. We can be the advocates.

@justin @misty aaaa I love your profile pic!
And of course! My only concern with Codeberg is the latency. I’m kinda just hosting my own stuff lately. (And suffering with GitHub during business hours. 🫠)

(Btw that’s not a complaint at all, latency is due to the trip between Brazil and Germany. Maybe this will be solved when I move to EU, or when federation lands)

@vito his name is Kevin.

@justin hehehehe Hellooo Kevin!

Justin, please pass along some pets from me! <3

@misty i check it in the morning like the weather forecast
@miakizz @misty yep, another part of the morning routine, even though it feels like a lot of the outages start in ET mid-morning or early afternoon.

@misty I recently noticed this changeover in my own browser, as well.

Sick sad world!

By this reckoning they’re at under 85% uptime for the last 90 days.
https://mrshu.github.io/github-statuses/

For context, a web site could hit 99.0% uptime for 11 months out of the year, and then just turn everything off for the entire month of February and they’d have 91.4% uptime for the year.

I guess copilot is doing vibe uptime.

@misty Real testament to uptime.
