ColinI've just #migrated a #desktop from #Debian #GNU/Linux 13 #Trixie to #Devuan GNU/Linux 6 #Excalibur. It was fast, around 30 minutes, and hassle-free except for #audio, which did not work at all. I found a fix here https://dev1galaxy.org/viewtopic.php?id=5867 which involved creating a simple #script executable on login, and it worked! This all reminded me of my first experience with GNU/Linux in 2002, using #sndconfig. I played #StrawberryFieldsForever (#TheBeatles) as I had done to celebrate that little achievement all those years ago.
