@moonrabbit Today in Springy thingies:
🌳 First shy oak leaves unfurling (just the one tree)
🌸 DOUBLE CHERRY BLOSSOM (in a few days it will be spectacular)
@moonrabbit We found a cricket a while back, but yet to hear one sing.
The frogs are out. THEY are singing!

The WATERLILIES are a fun story:
My dad begged my mum for years to let him buy some.
She balked at the price for 1 sad, thin little plant, and as they were arguing the guy behind them in the queue intervened.
"You want waterlilies? I have a pond *overgrown* with the things, come back to my house and TAKE SOME. PLEASE"
..so that's how my Dad came home with a bucketful of plants in several colours.
