Yep, this thing takea a lot of table space!

I think I'll use the Polymaker filament boxes and stack them on a shelf above the printer for easy access.

@apzpins Take a look at the auto-rewinding spools on Printables. I've been using them for the last 18 months. They work pretty well. I think there's a version that fits inside the PolyMaker box. I use the version that fits the (un)official Prusa drybox.

@kbob How do these work? Are they spring loaded or is there some fancy motor setup in them?
@apzpins There is a coil spring inside the hub. When the spool rotates, the spring winds up. When the spring gets tight, the spool starts slipping on the hub. The spring is able to rewind 15-20 inches (35-50cm) depending on filament diameter.
