@eldersea My grandmother likes playing the lotto, which is fine. But I limit her to $5. And I'm playing the crypto ponies, but also limit to $5. stocks, crypto, the lotto, social media and many casual phone games all hijack the brains reward system. And they want that. I'm Heathen and Lord Odin warns about replacing reason for entertainment. I go to Vegas and play nickel slots and order free wine till I'm puking. Go back to my room - only lost $5. That's replacing entertainment for reason.

@eldersea Movies? I guess some are effectively 2+ hour product placements but that feels kind of narrow.
