I understand ambivalence about TDoV. No one should _have_ to be visible, especially when that visibility is so dangerous.

On the other hand, representation will always matter.

Everyone contributes in different ways, you don't have to put yourselves out there.

But enough of us do need to do that to change the shape of the conversation, to bend the arc of governance and policy making, and to ensure young trans folks can see that they have elders and a future.
