Neurotypicals are bad at communicating all the time; yet no one gives a flying fuck. They just want socially acceptable behavior from others. Find me a neurospicy person who’s actually vague. Bet you can’t find any. Personally I think not being vague is a person’s strength #neurodivergent #ActuallyAutistic

@farah maybe there is a correlation there. I know I talk as though I can but I cannot really see how allistic somebody is (despite my ridiculous propensity to guess).

but interpersonally it does not matter. if someone is vague or unclear with me they will be entered into a process of information extraction that can be as easy or difficult as they choose, and which ends when they have achieved the acceptable standard of clarity. I'm helpful like that. highly recommend this approach.

@falcennial @farah when we were in our 20s, my sister and all her friends had a social style that included point-and-laugh hysterically whenever someone is confused by anything. And then get impatient and change the subject if I persisted in wanting clarification. I learned it was safest to not interact at all when I was stuck with a crowd like that.
