This is what the inside of a tube (underground) carriage looks like, gutted for refurbishment….
@TheBreadmonkey Oh that's where the Henry lives!
@Akki @TheBreadmonkey They should leave one in every completed carriage so I can clean up a little before I have to sit down #FilthyLondoners

@Akki
@TheBreadmonkey Henrys (Henries?) just magically appear wherever they're needed. I'm not actually sure that they're manmade appliances at all, rather I suspect they're a subspecies of elf or pixie that live on dust and debris.

#HenryHoover

@losttourist @Akki @TheBreadmonkey

Henries feed on dust and debris, then excrete electricity through their power cord, which is why they won't dine unless plugged in.

@pdmckone @losttourist @Akki @TheBreadmonkey I killed one, once. I'm not proud. Wasn't even mine.

@ravenbait @pdmckone @losttourist @Akki

Impressive. I understand you need Mage skill level 22 and magic buffs to even take one on.

@TheBreadmonkey @pdmckone @losttourist @Akki I have so many buffs they need their own drawer!
@TheBreadmonkey They’re pretty much hand built, no two carriages are alike. It’s a team of skilled workers who make every panel to fit, teams of electricians running cables and terminating them.

@j3di

So these were sent to me by my Brother in Law who's currently working on them! It's pretty interesting.

@TheBreadmonkey From my time at Washwood Heath, Birmingham. Testing Pendolinos at the end of the production line. So coincidentally the same line where Jubilee tube trains were produced I think.
@j3di @TheBreadmonkey An alternative view from when I was dispatched to LU's Ruislip depot to weld some brackets on the underside of some of their wagons.
@DJDarren @TheBreadmonkey The mucky side!
@j3di @TheBreadmonkey And then some. Had to do some significant grinding to get to good metal.
@j3di @DJDarren @TheBreadmonkey not as mucky as the steam locomotive I was under last night
@Erased_Citizen @DJDarren @TheBreadmonkey Ah yes, where you add soot into the party too!
@DJDarren @j3di @TheBreadmonkey Used to be a couple of old geezers in the pub who worked for bombardier (Think it’s called Alston now).
They were insistent that they had ferrets living at the factory that would run cables down tight spaces.
Could never figure out if they were taking the piss.
@BenCotterill @DJDarren @TheBreadmonkey You know I’ve heard cats being used to run cables but never believed it. Crazy stories are sometimes true!
@TheBreadmonkey So much room for activities!
@TheBreadmonkey the big cardboard box with a tissue coming out of it has a picture of a cardboard box with a tissue coming out of it. That picture of a cardboard box, though, doesn’t in turn have a picture of a cardboard box with a tissue coming out of it, and I really think they could be doing better there.
@TheBreadmonkey Oh yeah, had to include this picture!
@TheBreadmonkey they should shoot some Firefly or Doctor Who in there!
@TheBreadmonkey looks like I could almost stand up in that one!
@TheBreadmonkey :blobhajshock: It's naked!
