Peter SommerladI had to use such an elevated bus to get to the plane once, Experience is not that great. so it looks much more interesting than it really is.
in ZRH some flights are boarded via stairs where you are carried to the stairs in an overfull bus. very nice when it is cold and raining and you have to lug your carry-on up the stairs. and after landing sometimes you have to sit in the plane until the bus arrives. not funny when you have a short connection.
G. Wozniak@steve One time I flew to Cyprus and landed at an airport that bussed you to the terminal. There was Apollo class and Athena class (Apollo being the higher one). The flight there was long and delayed and everyone was tired and cranky. Probably... ~100 people? We waited for the bus to come get us.
Apollo class got off first. Maybe 5 people total. The bus, that easily holds 30 people, left with only them on it.
Only one bus was making the rounds.
Let's just say you could feel the frustration in Athena class about that.
