@ascentale @bikenite #BikeNite A6. I know at least two people whose homes were destroyed/heavily damaged by e-bike battery charging failures. I don't have personal experience, except 1. An e-bike battery swelled up like a GIANT BALLOON, which the local firefighters wouldn't have anything to do with, and which I managed to offload (only barely) to the local hazmat place (!!!). Plus, the attempted acquisition of a replacement e-bike battery from the Bezos Bazaar (for the same-ebike), which resulted in a very dodgy battery, a charger that didn't work with that battery, and YET ANOTHER attempt to dump the dodgy batteries at e-waste. It was not good.
