I'm very visual in my storytelling, but I don't have any interest in representing the story in anything but words *unless* it were adapted to a visual medium: animation, comics, or live-action. Then, a whole different set of storytelling options present themselves.

Not directly, but I am channelling the experience of finding yourself awake and terrified by a nightmare but also safe in your own bed. Of course, in my book, the nightmares literally chase them into waking life, so...

#ScribesAndMakers Would your current creative project make a good game?

Maybe one of those multi-branch, choose-your-dialogue games punctuated by *intense* fight scenes? I can see places where different kinds of relationships could form with secondary characters but not derail the central narrative, where different secondary characters could have different fates. Sure. Yeah. One of those could work.
