I'm an English prof, so yes, but 99% in the context of essay writing. I wrote loads of short fiction just off the top of my head, I took one fiction writing course online, and I pick things up here and there.

Just one. My side characters are part of it. I'm not advanced enough in my skills for more than one plot.
