Anyone with an objective bone in their body could see that the Ostrich ‘issue' was a conjob and a grift. But CBC went for the literal receipts.

"Angela Rasmussen, an avian flu virologist at the University of Saskatchewan, reviewed journalists' findings and dismissed claims the farm was engaged in any groundbreaking research.

"I think calling it scientific work is quite generous," she told fifth estate co-host Mark Kelley. "I call it a scam.””

The ostrich con: Arguments to save birds from cull in B.C. were based on falsehoods, evidence shows | CBC News

In short they're bitching because $3k/bird isn't enough to compensate them for being completely unable to run a viable ostrich farm.

@elasticsoul no worry about being sued when the suing party is obviously a liar

@chris One of my besties works for CFIA and the whole situation was such a nightmare.

People were stalking and harassing the CHILDREN of the employees.
