Interesting to hear “left-wing populist” being bandied about already to describe sensible person-first policies that might be popular.

If these things are “populist” is the opposite something like “business-first”? or maybe just “capitalist”?

People are what matter - every person matters - and it’s refreshing to hear a leader be clear about that.

We really need to recognise what #neoliberalism has done to us, by calling it what is is: A #religion.

It is no longer an economic theory, but has evolved into a secular, all-encompassing value system that people follow in selecting what is right, true, and justified.

The deification of market transactions as unquestionably rational, explains the cognitive dissonance we experience today: "Don't believe your lying eyes, the market is right"
