When I studied yoga I was very influenced by this quote from "Yoga - The Key To Life" (James McCartney):

"It is wise never to wear more than the minimum amount of clothing necessary to keep warm and dry."

It became my philosophy if not my daily practice and I always thought that for me it meant that nakedness should be my default state.

@nakedgerry In the Guhyasamāja, which serves as a model for later tantric systems, establishing key ideas such as the five Buddha families, subtle-body channels, & the union of bliss & emptiness. “ #VivastraYoga ( #naked #yoga ) is the only practice to lead to the realisation of non-dual wisdom.”
@SydneyJim The first yoga classes I attended (clothed but also the most enjoyable) had a strong emphasis on yoga philosophy, which I found as interesting, if not more so, than the actual physical practices of yoga. I was not aware then of any naked yoga classes but always felt that yoga would be better practiced naked.
