Going on a backpacking trip with scouts this weekend, first time since knee surgery in January. Knee not 100%, but strength back to normal. Do your PT! Amazing!
Looking forward to sleeping outside, sitting by a waterfall with nothing to do but listen to the water flow. (Photo from last year.)

@IcooIey it's not only beautiful, you also motivate me that knees are reparable!
Wishing you a great trip!
@NatureMC I resisted surgery for a year, and tried everything available to see if it would heal, as it sometimes does. The repair I had is simple (frayed meniscus) and recovery straight forward. Not all knee surgeries are as beneficial. Nice not to live in pain. Now to hope I can continue to do the things I love without further injury.
@IcooIey Good friend is getting his knee replaced today, he's worried, last time we talked he was depressed. That's what I told him, do your PT! Have fun on your hike.
@GPJohnston knee replacements are hard! It hurts and you really have to be motivated to do the physical therapy. Your friend might be helped by a recovery support group. Helped me a lot to talk to others who understood the pain and frustration and could encourage me to keep working to get better.
@IcooIey yay! Have a great camp! Look forward to pics.
