I got suspended from Bluesky. I don't have any energy to do anything with this account except to talk. Why should I possibly bother anymore? I shared a ridiculous amount of incredible and proven so thoroughly without me that it's painful to even talk about how simple it is to end homelessness. And not just simple, the most financially solid solution that's out there. I published one of the reports as a book. I've gone through it so much. Is there a serious end homelessness community on Mastodon?

@_MissKitty There are lots of folks I see who resonate with the insanity of finding money to pay for wars over night but not fixing #homelessness.

With no #algorithm though, you have to build the #community. I think you would fit in well here. I'm not sure if you're aware, but a primary discovery mechanism here is hashtags. So if you only have three followers, as it seems, you won't get your message very far without hashtags until you've gained a bunch of followers who will boost you.

@poleguy thank you for the update! And I do live with #hashtags! I really haven't put in the effort here because I have been blowing the account up on #Bluesky, and I'm learning how to control the #stream so it doesn't consume all my time. It's a huge learning curve. So there's a lot in what you say to help me get connected further, but I'm trying to be even more organized, like deliver a tentative #schedule and one page executive #summary of my plan. I need to make it easy to understand me.

@_MissKitty I see. Congratulations on your success on bluesky!

Personally, I'm unwilling to join bluesky, facebook or twitter, because I refuse to contribute to corporate walled gardens, so I can't see any of your stuff unfortunately. Do you have any visibility directly on the old internet?

I maintain poleguy.com and poleguy.com/blog in part so that I can't be cancelled at the whim of a corporate walled-gardener.

Of course I understand that if the visibility is important, you need to be there

@_MissKitty Is your homelessness report that you published as a book available somewhere? I couldn't find it with a web search.

That's for Illinois. Haven't been able to interest Pritzker in it. I have a national plan for the United states, Canada, Ireland, a shitty one for the UK that needs to be redone, New York City and the end of half of their property taxes at the same time, etcetera. I will see if I can pin my directory here. I have tons of research on homelessness, midterms, decentralized AI, independent news, yada yada.

@poleguy I just pinned the directory I share on Bluesky here also so you can take a look in there for free stuff.
@poleguy the difference with bluesky, although it is controlled like you say, is that it's not a walled garden controlled by central control. I have a vision of global decentralized AI first operating system not even Android turning a significant portion of the computing power over to the people for the cost of recharging their battery. Booyah! I'm 65 and I'm not playing for small results. It could be the platform that ends homelessness.
