If an organisation loses such important people, can't others be trained to replace them?
@nuwagaba2 When people walk out the door, they don’t just take a role with them; they take years of context, relationships, and hard-earned lessons. Hiring replacements won’t magically restore that. If we don’t value and retain institutional knowledge, we’re choosing to relearn the same mistakes the hard way.

Well put. Am so glad that I have had the opportunity to learn this without experiencing it the hard way . Many employers see workers as mere tools which can easily be replaced and so they don't value, the time , expertise and value added onto their companies or any institution. Am so glad that that you shared such a valuable knowledge which would have taken years for me to learn. Can I share with you about my project?
