@CdnCurmudgeon To her credit, she introduced the Pension Protection Act. Short credit list.
But she is also problematic for Bill C-6:
"In June 2021, Gladu publicly opposed and voted against Bill C-6, an act that would end the practice of conversion therapy in Canada."
And then she said anyone who crossed the floor should automatically have a by-election, so she's not worth the paper she's written on. Untrustworthy.
@miki_lou @CdnCurmudgeon Curious about your suggestion for an realistic alternative? Poilievre? He was the other choice at the time.
Just noting, I disagree with your statement, but open to hearing another point of view.
In precarious times, people like their leader to be cautious. I disagree with some things PM Carney has done, but then I don't know everything he knows about what's going on.
Really didn't like to see Guilbeault leave.
Sure, it will help him in the House, but the anti-science Gladu is the very epitome of everything the Liberals historically stood *against.* It casts a dark shadow on the Liberals if she gets *any* role aside from backbencher.
@penpencilbrush @miki_lou Not true. Gladu was elected under Scheer (2015) and she made her statements about vaccines, the convoy, cannabis, and other areas long before PoiLIEvre was leader. Her Talibangelist attempt to make December into 'Christian Heritage Month' was done after he became leader.
