Hello everyone! How's it going? It's meh here, a sign of the times. I had to get the lawn mower out for the first time this year. I'm glad we invested in the Ego electric mower a couple of years ago. It makes cutting the grass so much easier. No oil, no gas and no engine noise. Friday I'll be getting the wood chipper out, it has all three but will chip a 4 inch branch, so I'll cut it some slack. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Have a pleasant evening! After the hardware store, I'm shutting down.

@That_One_Guy love my eGO mower! This is my first season using it and I wrongly believed the height adjustment was in inches so I really cropped my grass! Oops! RTFM Moe!
@moelassus
I tend to cut mine on the 4 or 5. I like to leave small flowers and dandelions for the pollinators. Great mowers though. I'm going to get a trimmer and possibly chainsaw once I wear my gas ones out.
@That_One_Guy I scalped it at setting 3. Oops! I prefer it tall so 5 or 6 is likely what Iโ€™ll use. I wont know until it grows back enough to cut again. I love being gas-free.

During our cleaning day, I found a memory card in a camera. There were pictures of when the property was nice before garbage was piled everywhere. I went and cleared that area first, still snow t here, and found tulips. I dug a bunch up and that's what I did before I showered.
@That_One_Guy My Ego blower is really good, too. Since I let my lawn guy do the yard itself, I don't need a riding mower but I am thinking about an Ego push mower for small areas...
@masayuki60
Great choice with minimal headache. Their blowers are very powerful.

I've got some Hart equipment. My first electric mower was corded, my second had an integrated battery, I wanted to make sure they could do the job before I spend real money, and now I have a trimmer and blower that share a drive (used to be a snow shovel too, but that broke), and the mower.

@That_One_Guy

With all your planting, I'm surprised you anything to mow. ๐Ÿ˜„ Still, getting the mower out confirms that seasons have changed.

@Sharonbw
I honestly don't mind cutting the grass, I find it stress relieving. Next weekend I'll be back to wrangling bees.

@That_One_Guy

Then the real fun begins! ๐Ÿ
